Paarijatham
K Bhagyaraj's Paarijatham hava a good review from sify. I also thought he would be working hard to make his daughter to shine better. In the season of blood-and-gore-rowdy-movie season, Paarijatham looks better. I too wanted to see the movie. Always I love the screenplay of K Bhagyaraj. All his movies are packed with sentiments, comedy, nativity and no flaws in the way, it is narrated. He also have some exceptions like vettiya maduchchu kattu and Gnanapalam. But Veetla Vishechanga, Sundara Kandam, Raasu Kutty, Ithu Namma aalu, Enga Chinna Rasa. He has long way to reach this heights. And after supporting DMK in 2006 elections, his film Paarijatham is released by DMK favour producer-distributor Oscar films Ravichandran. Already everyone had known that only after second release of Chiththiram Pesuthadi, the film got good attention. Now Ravichandran have started to give good promotions for Paarijatham. So SUN TV also there to promote movie better than any K Bhagyaraj movie. Lets see its BO collections. But personally I liked the Kathal Poothame song which is capturised in a very good way.
Also CM Karunanidhi watched the movie, in his busy schedule, which may give some more publicity about the movie.

Yeah Karthik, I am too looking forward to watch what Bhagyaraj is able to bring to the table at this stage of his career. Many of the directors of the older generation (Bhagyaraj, Fazil, Bharathiraja to name a few) have been unable to impress the movie-goers of today. So, it would be interesting to see from that perspective. But the trailer of the movie didnt impress me at all (with that kaakaa joke and Bhagyaraj's punch dialogue at the end). I will have to wait (longer than you guys) and see :(

Yes filbert. You are correct. But I liked chokka thangam of Bhagyaraj, which is not too bad than Bharathiraja's kankalal kaithu sei. I too saw some clippings of the Paarijatham. Not too impressive. But cool with Bhagyaraj's dialogues
