Cine Bits

Jayam Ravi's third film Something Something Unakkum Enakkum (SSUE) under his home production and directed by his brother Raja, is going to release tomorrow worldwide. Really Ravi needs a hit whereas his last three films (Dass, Mazhai, Idhyathirudan) didn't do any magic at Box Office. It is well known that Director Raja, brother of Ravi, has all knowledge to promote and use his brother in films well than any other. Last two hits (Jayam, M.Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi) of Ravi was directed by him and that was remake of telugu blockbusters. This SSUE is also a remake of Prabhudeva directed last year telugu blockbuster Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. Prabhu is playing a role of brother of Trisha and there is rumour that he steals the show. Already the songs of Devi prasad is on the top of Audi market charts. And as a last minute trial, they also tried to cut the first half english name Something Something in the title of the film to get tax exemptions declared by TN govt recently.

The Shooting of Ajith's next film Aalwar going to start from August 1, where the pooja will be there on sameday in Hyderabad. He suggested producers to have low profile for the film by avoiding promos, which will be financial burden for producer. The film will hit screens on Pongal 2007. Srikanth Deva will be the music director for the film and its first for a Ajith. Director Chella conducted a workshop last week with the crew of the film to complete it on time.

Was disappointed that Yuvan is not doing the music for Alwar. Like we discussed before, Yuvan with Ajith would have been cool.

About SSEU - dont have too much expectations. Ravi badly needs to work under a proven director to bring out his talents (if he has any). As long as he works with his brother, he is going to remain the same actor that he started as, in Jeyam.
