Tirupathi 100

In the way of Aathi, Ajith starrer Tirupathi is also going to reach the its 100th successful day tomorrow. Some are saying that Tirupathi had satisfied its distributor and producer in collections. Tirupathi had lot of reasons for its worst collection in BO including Perarasu's cameo appearance. But I dont see in any report that the movie is a super hit. This is the year where all low budget movies made money. And Oscar Ravichandran is the man who got more profit as distributor or producer from the movies Dishyum, Thalainagaram, Chiththiram Pesuthadi and Paarijatham. The notable point is all successful movies dont have any top hereos. Really these movies are based on story and screenplay and its Directors played a lead role in making the film as super hit.

yes karthik....but we ajith fans wouldn't like to exagerrate it.....there is some truth in what you said and there is some truth in we all ajithfans saying that tirupathi is only a hit...a good profit for the producers and distributors but not a bumper profit....a good profit because of the bumper opening that the king of opening gave....its not that super hit........but our thala did this movie only for AVM and I believe there will be a better director than perarasu in AVM production for another movie soon....

Thirupathi: Celebration time

July 21, 2006

Ultimate star Ajith’s Thirupathi has completed a spectacular run of 100 days. In this movie Ajith has handled his stunt and dance sequences very well. Succeeding Paramasivan, he has treated us with a very good action packed wholesome entertainer. Sadha plays a small part, but has done full justice to her role.

Some of the commendable performances include that of Arun Pandian (who plays the role of a cop), Riaz Khan and Pyramid Natarajan. Comedy has been hilariously handled by the budding Kanja Karuppu and the veteran M.S. Bhaskar. Bharadwaj's Music gels well with the script and one of the highlights is the special appearance of Laila in one of the songs. Thalapathi Dinesh's stunts are a treat to watch and so is the cinematography by Saravanan. Hats off to the cast and crew of this movie!!!
